My name is Ruud Biesmans, born in Maastricht, the Netherlands –were I live and work. After years of doing all kinds of stuff with photography, I started with portrait- and fashion photography as a spare-time activity next to my regular work.
Born out of a hobby, photography is a creative counterweight to my job and I've always kept it that way, so it's still a hobby today.
In 1991, I went to Hasselt in Belgium to take photography classes, to expand my technical skills and vision.
After making my first encounter with digital photography I moved forward really fast.
And now I enjoy every shoot I do; trying to get the best result out of it and having fun working with the people that make them happen.
My tools are: Nikon D800 – Hensel - Elinchrom
